Storyline:From earliest childhood, Jacob (Asa Butterfield) hears from his grandfather Abraham (Terence Stamp) always wonderful and imaginative stories of an island where he hid from monsters and lived with children who all had extraordinary abilities. As a little boy, Jacob loves these stories, which he takes at face value, but later he does not believe his grandpa anymore. When the boy is 16, his grandfather dies, apparently mangled by a wild animal. But Jacob thinks he has seen something different and becomes curious: he is denying his parents permission to travel to the island where his grandfather lived in an orphanage during the Second World War. The old house in the UK has long been an abandoned ruin, but Jacob finds evidence that the "special children" from Abraham's stories are still alive, well guarded by the determined Miss Peregrine (Eva Green) - but the danger that cost Abraham his life , is still not banned ...
