Storyline:Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) is a British Army officer, but due to his background, he has no chance of a great career. He just received a commission from the Royal Geographic Society, in whose name he is to create maps of the territory that was still unknown in the 1920s in South America. In his tedious and exhausting expedition into the hostile jungles of the Amazon, he accidentally encounters traces of a civilization that no one has reported yet, and soon becomes convinced of the existence of a lost city he baptizes "Z". But when he returns home, no one believes him and his find is dismissed as a figment of the imagination. Forced to find evidence of his allegations, Fawcett repeatedly breaks into the jungles of Brazil, most recently accompanied by his now adult son Brian (Tom Holland).
