Storyline:Maud Watts (Carey Mulligan) has been working in a laundry in London's East End since the age of seven. She is now married to her colleague Sonny (Ben Whishaw) and has a young son. About the quality of her life, Maud asks only a few questions, until one day she gets into an uprising of the suffragettes on an errand for her boss Taylor (Geoff Bell). Among the stone throwers is also Maud's colleague Violet (Anne-Marie Duff), who fights with passion for women's suffrage. At first, Maud does not want to know about this group, but then persuades Violet and her friends to attend a secret meeting of the movement. Infatuated with the fighting spirit of her fellow campaigners and spurred on by a speech by suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst (Meryl Streep), Maud is soon ready to fight for women's rights more and more militantly. In doing so, she puts not only job and family, but also her life on the play ...

Storyline:Alice Kingsleigh (Mia Wasikowska) spent the last few years sailing on her own ship. However, when she returns to London, she realizes that traditional views on the role of women in society have not changed and that life is not possible according to her ideas for Alice. With the help of Absolue (Alan Rickman), Alice goes back to the realm of Unterland through a mirror, where she meets her old friends again. The Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is no longer the same because he has lost his multitude. To rescue him, Alice is sent to seek time (Sacha Baron Cohen) - a strange creature, half human, half past one. This possesses the chronosphere, a sphere from which all time runs out. With her, Alice can travel back in time and help the milliner before his time runs out.
