James Marsden's New Movies
Storyline:To justify the invasion of Iraq in 2003, the government around President George W. Bush is gathering evidence showing that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction that must be hindered at all costs. The plan to disempower Saddam Hussein is in full swing - and the majority of the press reported as they were reported by the White House. Only Jonathan Landay (Woody Harrelson) and Warren Stroebel (James Marsden) have doubts, dig deeper and eventually use anonymous government sources - and find that the president's plan relies on lies and false information. They reveal a terrible truth that, apart from them, hardly anyone wants to believe.
Storyline:Company employee Dan Landsman (Jack Black) has a dream: as the organizer of a class reunion, he wants to gather all his former schoolmates together for the 20-year celebration, but his plan is difficult because the reactions are rather mixed. Then he sees on TV an advertisement in which none other than his former classmate Oliver Lawless (James Marsden) plays. He was once the most popular student of his year and Dan is sure that when he comes, the others will follow as well. To convince his high school idol, he flies to Los Angeles at company expense and seeks out Oliver, who finally agrees to come to class after a long, wild party night. But although the promise actually has the desired effect, it also comes with a high price.
Storyline:Neuroscientist Julia Brizendine (Whitney Cummings) professionally examines the biochemistry of the female brain, and has personally decided in her typically sober way that a romantic relationship is irrelevant. Julia's assistant Abby (Beanie Feldstein) is easily confused and takes various medicines, but still believes in love. Three different couples are taking part in Julia's investigation: the newlywed Zoe (Cecily Strong) and Greg (Blake Griffin) whose career problems weigh on the relationship; Lisa (Sofia Vergara) and Steven (Deon Cole) who want to bring fresh wind into their marriage again; and Lexi (Lucy Punch), who just can not stop trying to change her partner Adam (James Marsden) in her favor. Study leader Julia then feels strongly attracted by one of her subjects: The handsome Kevin (Toby Kebbell) is as edgy as he is benevolent and sincere, and in his presence, Julia's own brain synapses begin to fire ...
