Storyline:Max is a Belgian Shepherd dog used to support US soldiers in Afghanistan. After his master Kyle Wincott (Robbie Amell) is killed there in a failed maneuver, the animal returns heavily traumatized in the care of Kyle's family in the United States. The 14-year-old Justin (Josh Wiggins), who mourns the loss of his brother and struggles with his own problems, is initially not particularly interested in taking care of the dog. However, he soon realizes that Max may be his only chance to find out the truth about Kyle's death and cope with his grief. With the help of the alert Carmen (Mia Xitlali), who has a knack for the loyal four-legged friends, he learns to appreciate his animal cronies. And also the traumatized Max slowly regains trust in people. The story of "Max" is based on true events.

Storyline:Since he remembers, 15-year-old Jonas (Josh Wiggins) lives on his parents' farm somewhere in the Midwestern United States, but he's getting tired of the hard life there.
