Storyline:Sherlock Holmes (Ian McKellen) has now brought it to a proud 93 years and lives secluded in his country home in Sussex. About hero stories, which are told about him in the cinema, the aged master detective can only shake his head, since most of the straight is invented. He never wore the legendary cap and he always preferred cigarettes. During the day Holmes devotes himself to beekeeping and introduces Roger (Milo Parker), the son of his housekeeper Mrs. Munro (Laura Linney), to the secrets of beekeeping. But sometimes memories of old cases come up against his will, especially this one in which a beautiful woman was in danger: Ann Kelmot (Hattie Morahan). Whether Holmes can still crack the unresolved case, though his memory is dwindling?

Storyline:On January 15, 2009, the pilot Chesley B. Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) becomes the absolute hero in the US, but also around the world, because "Sully", so nicknamed, with his Airbus A320 ditching on the Hudson River in New York must do and miraculously creates them as well. He is assisted by his co-driver Jeff Skiles (Aaron Eckhart). The drama took its course when just after take-off from LaGuardia Airport a flock of birds got into the plane's engine and caused their failure, causing the plane to crash. All 155 people survive the emergency landing almost unhurt and still Sullenberger must fear in the subsequent investigations to the accident and the emergency landing for his reputation as an experienced pilot, he has worked hard with more than 20,000 flight hours.

Storyline:All attempts to prevent dinner fail: Former history teacher Paul (Steve Coogan) has to follow his wife Claire (Laura Linney) to dinner with his brother Stan (Richard Gere) and his sister-in-law Katelyn (Rebecca Hall). Stan has a big talk scheduled for the evening but other things stand in the way: Because he wants to become governor, Stan wants to bring that night a bill in dry shawls. His wife Katelyn, meanwhile, has problems with her husband not wanting to have a baby with her. And Paul has a problem with his son Michael (Charlie Plummer) that he tries to solve without Claire noticing. But she knows the meeting at the very exclusive restaurant long ago.
