Storyline:In 1957, when the Cold War is at its peak, the US succeeds in arresting Soviet agent Rudolf Abel (Mark Rylance). He is interrogated but refuses to cooperate. As a public defender, he gets someone on the side whose skills are out of the question, but as an insurance lawyer brings little expertise for his new job: James Donovan (Tom Hanks). The lawyer is skeptical, especially as the defense of a hostile agent is considered by many as treason and thus his life and especially his wife Mary (Amy Ryan) and that of his daughter Jan (Eve Hewson) can threaten. Donovan's personal situation comes to a head when CIA officer Hoffman (Scott Shepherd), impressed by Donovan's appearances in the courtroom, entrusts him with a new mission. The U-2 spy plane of US pilot Francis Gary Powers (Austin Stowell) was shot down over the Soviet Union. Donovan is to go to East Berlin to negotiate with the Soviets for the release - and to initiate a prisoner exchange ...

Storyline:The witching hour does not start at 0am, as everyone thinks it starts at 3am! Orphan Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) knows this because she can not sleep in her children's home and therefore goes on a nightly raid. Storyline:May 1940, the Second World War rages: The Nazis have surrounded the French harbor town of Dunkirk, and the situation seems hopeless for their inhabitants and the 400,000 soldiers stationed there. However, in the UK, a bold rescue mission is being made, of which only a few believe they can have a chance of success.
