Storyline:For seventeen-year-old Greg (Thomas Mann), any kind of sociability is an annoying evil he keeps away from as best he can. The only exception are meetings with his buddy Earl (RJ Cyler), with whom he indulges a common passion: In homage to their favorite works, the boys shoot short films. While Greg wants to make it as invisible as possible through high school, his mother (Connie Britton) urges him to spend time with his classmate Rachel (Olivia Cooke) - who has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. At first, neither he nor Rachel are enthusiastic about the plan, especially since Rachel fears that Greg will visit her only out of pity. But when Greg clarifies that he is just coming because of his mother's insistence, the way is clear for a slow-growing friendship that will change the lives of both teenagers ...
