Storyline:Shopkeeper Jan Lewan (Jack Black) began his career as a polka singer in the 1970s, eventually rising to become the undisputed polka king of Pennsylvania in the early '90s. But he also resorts to unfair means, because he knows no inhibitions in the implementation of his goals. He takes out his investors and captivates authorities and builds a musical empire with him in the middle. He even founds the world's first polka-ponzi scam. But that can not last forever, so Lewan ends up in jail one day and also tears his wife Marla (Jenny Slate) and his neurotic helper Mickey (Jason Schwartzman) into the abyss.
